
After overcoming many challenges, the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board launched its new and improved Recovery.gov Web site on Monday. Earl Devaney, who manages the site and oversees economic stimulus spending, explains in a video message [click here] how the site will provide citizens with accountability and transparency. Recipients start reporting quarterly on Thursday and by Oct. 15 the board will post all data associated with contract recipients. Grant and loan data will be posted by Oct. 30, he said.
