White House Is 'Open For Questions'

If President Barack Obama's primetime Tuesday news conference left viewers wanting more, the administration is inviting the public to post economy-related questions on the White House's Web site and vote on submissions from others. The forum is community-moderated and accessible to computer users of all ages so officials warned those taking part that "everyone has a right to their opinion" and to "be thoughtful about the words you choose." In its first few hours, the Web application received 19,932 votes on 230 questions (less than 20 minutes later that grew to 48,586 votes on 1,796 questions).
