            <description><![CDATA[<p>The National Cable and Telecommunications Association's 58th annual convention being held at the Washington Convention Center this week will attract thousands of attendees as well as a handful of prominent lawmakers. Plus organizers are expecting a number of celebrity appearances during exhibition floor hours. Here are some highlights: </p>

<p>Cable Positive: MSNBC's <strong>Rachel Maddow</strong>, Thursday 2-3 p.m.<br />
Comcast: Washington Redskins' quarterback <strong>Jason Campbell</strong>, Wednesday 4:30-6 p.m.<br />
Fox Cable Networks: Major League Baseball's <strong>Lou Brock</strong>, Wednesday, 3:30-5 p.m.<br />
Speed Channel: NASCAR's <strong>Richard Petty</strong>, Thursday, 11-12:30 p.m.<br />
FX: The cast of  "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (<strong>Danny Devito</strong>, <strong>Rob McElhenney</strong>, <strong>Charlie Day</strong>, <strong>Glenn Howerton</strong> and <strong>Kaitlin Olson</strong>), Thursday 2-4 p.m.<br />
SCI FI Channel: <strong>Colin Ferguson</strong>, star of "Eureka," Wednesday, 3 p.m.<br />
