            <title>Google Joins Online Kids Safety Group</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>Internet giant Google has joined the <a href="http://www.fosi.org/">Family Online Safety Institute</a>, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to identifying and promoting best practices, tools, and methods for Web safety. Google Policy Counsel <strong>Pablo Chavez</strong> was added to the group's board to help steer its strategic direction and initiatives. "Joining FOSI furthers Google's efforts to educate families about ways to use the Internet safely," Chavez said in a press release. Google joins a list of big name high-tech players involved in the effort, including AT&T, British Telecom, Comcast and Verizon.</p>]]></description>
