Gephardt Hired By Patent Reform Proponents

CongressDaily's AM edition on Tuesday reported that the Coalition for Patent Fairness, which has championed the congressional effort to overhaul the U.S. patent system, hired former Sens. Trent Lott, R-Miss., and John Breaux, D-La., to help lobby on behalf of the group. The prominent policymaker, who ended his three-decade political career in 2005, is now senior counsel at the law firm of DLA Piper.
